MORE ABOUT 35MM

35MM features the talents of Claude McCan, Masumi Jones, Alan Uribe, and Fumihito Sugawara. The band reconstructs the 50-60's lounge music genre with a sultry and polished style, influenced by bossa nova, tango, jazz, surf music, space-age pop, and spy-movie soundtracks. You can check out their album “Heartache is Such a Dirty Business” on Bandcamp here: https://fumihitosugawaraclaudenine.bandcamp.com/album/heartache-is-such-a-dirty-business.

Andrea Ariel Dance Theatre creates original, multi-disciplinary dance-based performances centered at the heart of our human experiences. Inspired by the poetic and everyday elements of life, the company engages in a collaborative, ensemble-based process to explore personal, social, political, and environmental issues with inquisitiveness and imagination. We cultivate inclusive creative opportunities for diverse artists, audiences and participants through performances, community projects, classes, workshops, and educational and training residencies. Our goals are to foster an appreciation and understanding of the value of arts and creativity to people of all ages and abilities, and to advance equalized access to the arts.
